BRIEF
Create an experience focused on building connections. Find innovative ways to spark and nurture valuable relationships between clients, sponsors and Deloitte partners, supported by impactful content that brings the transformation narrative to life.
STRATEGY
Our strategy was audience-first: anticipating individual needs and delivering an experience that met them by embracing ‘radial hospitality’. Valuable conversations across audience segments were a high priority, and we facilitated this through structure and space. Structure was offered through private meetings baked into attendees’ agendas in advance, while ample space in the Expo was designed for serendipitous conversations to take place. The agenda was also configured to maximise time for people to connect. Activations and presentations were viewed through the lens of ‘content that sparks connections.’
EXPERIENCE
Every element of the experience was designed to service relationship building. At registration, attendees were given interactive badges that they could use to share their details with others to follow up with after the event.
The Expo was the heart of the experience, and included Sponsor Conversation Hubs, offering a permanent home for sponsors to interact with clients as they explored. Content Delivery Areas filled the corners of the Expo, housing industry takeover sessions from brand partners that attendees could sit in on during breaks. These content and conversation areas were designed using acoustic walling, offering an added layer of privacy for important conversations, and avoiding sound bleed from the rest of the space.
Visible from throughout the Expo was our 3.5m2 LED Cube, showcasing thought leadership content throughout the day and aiding navigation. To achieve a more fluid experience, we started the event in the Expo with a fantastic opening video playing across the four sides of the cube.
The Plenary housed digestible 30-minute sessions on macro transformation trends, along with a live recording of Deloitte’s Green Room podcast.
The experience evolved to become a must-attend event for senior leaders driving large-scale modernisation.
