The CN 30underThirty initiative recognises the industry’s exceptional talent; showcasing their achievements and rewarding their passion, creativity and brilliance that makes them the leaders of tomorrow within the conference and meetings industry.

Every year since its launch in 2017, Conference News unveils a list of 30 event professionals under the age of 30 who have shown exceptional tenacity, talent and a proven trajectory in conferences and meetings. They are the individuals who CN believes will path the way to success in our industry, they break barriers, ignore the status quo, demonstrate passion, skill and ultimately push the industry forward.

Sophie has been with us for over five years and is experienced in managing award-winning events across the globe. She builds strong trusting client relationships and delivers even the most complex events with style and ease. We are so pleased to see one of our own get this incredible recognition.

The 2021 class was recognised and celebrated at ODEON Luxe, West End, on 20 January.

Upon arrival the CN30 winners were treated to a networking reception before the main event: the awards ceremony, where they heard from CN Editor, Martin Fullard and Felicia Asiedu, Marketing Manager at Cvent.

Addressing the 2021 cohort, Asiedu, said: “Tell people who you are, shout about what you can do for them. That’s how you’ll make a change in this industry. One of the benefits of CN 30underThirty is the ability to network and make connections. This helps you keep driving forwards.”
