Amplifying the Experience


The brief was to design an innovative awards ceremony for 500 live guests and thousands of colleagues joining remotely. We used LED as the visual theme, creating a celebratory, digital and highly optimistic feel, with a fast-changing fluid set, LED dancers and LED wristbands for everyone.

We merged live and digital channels with the use of Awards TV. This enabled us to reach colleagues at home and out and about on a Saturday night. Awards TV was integrated into the heart of the live event with a hosted programme, broadcast from a studio prominently positioned within the event. Interaction was encouraged between the live and remote audiences both through the host and displaying the conversation on twitter.
